New Book – Another Peak

Published in July 2019, ‘Another Peak’ explores mental health challenges through outdoor adventure. It shares an insight into depression and eating disorders whilst rediscovering purpose following two Everest attempts and an expedition to climb Cho Oyu, before embarking on Climb The UK in 2017. Another Peak goes deeper into the peaks and troughs of mental health than ever before, giving hope and inspiration to help others find their own Everest.

Finally, a live speaking engagement in the diary! Finally, a live speaking engagement in the diary! It’s been over a year of Zoom screens and virtual presenting instead of speaking in person to a live audience. To be honest I’ve enjoyed the challenge and ability to connect with audiences around Europe without even leaving home in Kendal. After all, adapting to adversity is what I do. Had a great session speaking about mental health to students @sheffhallamuni yesterday and the team @lifeatbaringa today in the UK and USA about reframing resilience and well-being as we come out of the pandemic.
.
Can’t wait to get back to the real thing soon though. The only challenge is… my 16-25 railcard expires next month!

Great being back in the North Lakes. Also pleased Great being back in the North Lakes. Also pleased to announce I'm joining @ellisbrigham as an ambassador again in 2021, alongside The Westgrove Group, providing the leading outdoor kit for all my training and challenges. Only need my knee to play ball so I can start putting the proper work in, and maybe some sponsorship from Nurofen, then we're sorted.
